Most famous for his ability to "humanize" animals. The most common
examples
of
his work feature dogs and cats portraying human events. A typical scene of
his would be an old-fashioned classroom with misbehaving
students. His early work dealt more with a
single animal image, whereas later work dealt with more busy
confused scenes of many animals. Thiele was a prolific artist, working
into his 70s. His set numbered 1424 published by Theo
Stroefer of Nurenberg, Germany, which depicts
