Richard Dixon

Richard R. Dixon, 64 died at 5 a.m. Sunday December 18, 1988 in his home at 402 W Wyandot Ave.
He was born in Chicago, IL on Nov 9, 1924 to John and Edith Stubing. His wife the former Anna Feske survives.
Also surviving are six children, Ronald and Leo; both in ILL. Evelyn Adamopolius, Sandra Clifton, Laura Crews, and Catherine all in Tennessee; and John in Massachusettes; three step-sons, Dr. Thomas Thornton and Robert Thornton, both of Upper Sandusky; and James Thornton of Chebanse, Ill; 25 grandchildren; a brother Frank, Holt, Mich, and a sister Bernice Allison, Scottville Mich. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
A truck driver, Mr. Dixon was retired after 25 years with U.S. Steel. A World War II veteran, he was a paratrooper in the U.S. Marines serving in Guam, Hiroshima, and Midway, and in the Korea conflict. He was a local member of Local Teamsters 705.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at Bringmam & Co. Funeral Home are 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday.

This was all the siblings except for Charles who had disappeared years before.
