What I gather is this:
Peter Leatherman and his first wife
(Mary Bassett) had a daughter, Louisa A Leatherman. This first
wife died; he remarried and the second wife died. His third wife
then was Martha Thornton Holleman Leatherman, who is actually
the older sister of Andrew Jackson Thornton. |
