Mary A. Fecske, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday,
August 21, 2003 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will
be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church,
211 Church St., St. Joseph with Msgr. Eugene Sears
officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at Starks &
Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St.
Joseph. Liturgical Prayers will be recited at 4 P.M. Sunday at
the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at
Home or the Michigan Heart Association. Those wishing to

Mrs. Fecske was born September 8, 1913 in Chicago to Frank
& Katherine (Kowalcnyk) Lusinski. On May 13, 1933, she
married John G. Fecske in Chicago. Mary was a member of
St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph.


Mary is survived by her daughter-Jeanette (Philip) Arent of
Niles; five grandchildren-Gordon (Deborah) Arent, Dawn
(Jeff) Mueller, Jeffrey Arent, Christopher (Jacqueline) Arent,
Glenn (Rachel Maciosek)Arent; five great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; and four brothers-William
(Alice) Lusinski, Donald Lusinski, George (Dori) Lusinski
and Herbert (Marsha) Lusinski, all of Illinois. She was
preceded in death by her husband John on November 21,
1978, her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
